1. Controller and information collected

We collect account and contact details, profile answers, religious and ethnicity information, photos, verification evidence, IP address, approximate location, messages, call metadata and payment records. Card details are handled by Stripe and never stored by us. We never record call audio or video.
2. Why we use information
- Contract: provide profiles, messaging, Wali access and credits.
- Legitimate interests: safety, moderation and fraud prevention.
- Explicit consent: religious beliefs, practice and ethnicity; withdraw by deleting those answers or your account.
- Legal obligation: tax and payment records.
- Consent: marketing email, with opt-out at any time.
3. Processors and transfers
Our processors may include Supabase for data and storage, Stripe for payments, Daily.co for calls, Resend for email, Twilio for SMS, and an IP-location provider. International transfers to the United States use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
4. Retention and rights
Verification selfies are deleted 30 days after review. Deleted profiles, photos and messages are removed within 30 days; payment records follow tax law; reports and audit logs may be kept for up to three years.
